Teenage friends ? I hope we still are,

Years have put space between us and now you seem so far,

Teenage promises never seem to stick,

Best Friend Forever is an old classic,

What would happen in the future?

What our life would nurture?

We were not aware,

Who could forget that one and only person, being always there,

Whom I can believe and rely,

With whom the never ending words fly high,

Up and up, above the sky.

No more chit chat in the backyard,

Growing up sure makes friendship hard,

From teenager to mature,

We have grown so much,

Sometimes I wonder,

How such good friends seem to lose touch.

Maybe destiny will let to meet at end,

Until then this is a letter to an old friend.
